‘Ffredi Blino’ returns with new single – ‘Bannau Brycheiniog’

‘Bannau Brycheiniog’ is a Welsh-language version of the Supergrass album track ‘Brecon Beacons’ (Life on Other Planets, 2002). According to Ffredi, “The region has reclaimed its original name and I thought someone should do the same for this excellent song!” Welsh-Aussie indie act Ffredi Blino has released two albums of bilingual, genre-defying tunes to widespread acclaim. His singles ‘Honolulu’ and ‘Fruitfly’ received airplay from Cerys Matthews on BBC 6 Music and ‘Dwwwi’ reached #1 on Rhys Mwyn’s 2021 Siart Amgen (Alternative Chart) on Radio Cymru.

Ffredi has performed live at festivals and venues around Wales both as a 3-piece band and as a soloist. Ffredi and his band will be touring around Wales this summer, with shows including Elysium Swansea, Bank Vault Aberystwyth, Workhouse Party Llanfyllin and more, for more information, please check out https://www.ffrediblino.com
