April marks the run up to Horizon Film Festival, which will showcase the work of Liverpool’s rising filmmakers, giving them the exposure, connections and support to thrive in the industry. 2026’s edition returns for the very first time as a two-day event on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th April, featuring two evening showcase screenings alongside a programme of industry-led workshops designed to help creators develop their skills and knowledge.
Unity’s varied programme shares high quality theatre, music and other arts from both emerging local theatre companies and nationally acclaimed touring artists. The theatre serves as a cultural hub for Liverpool’s creative communities; it is a home for many of Liverpool’s arts festivals, programmes art and theatre for families and young people and hosts a range of workshops for local creatives.
