Punk collective Seven Crowns are pleased to unveil their fourth studio album ‘Haunted Head’, out today, May 29th 2026 to limited edition vinyl via Pale Wizard Records. Their fourth full-length album ‘Haunted Head’ was produced, mixed and mastered by Josh Gallop (Krooked Tongue, Phoxjaw, Sergeant Thunderhoof) at Stage 2 Studios in Bath, born out of a period of time where many of the band’s loved ones passed away.

Whilst the album channels the band’s grief, rather than dwelling on their loved ones passing, ‘Haunted Head’ serves as a vessel to celebrate the relationships they shared with them. The album’s second track ‘Headstone’ enforces this message, containing a short snippet of a voicemail from a beloved family member. Reflecting on the album’s subject matter, the band explain:

“‘Haunted Head’ is heavy as fuck psychedelic punk. The album’s six songs represent a four year period when an alarming number of our family and friends died. This record is not lamenting their passing, but rather celebrates the fact that we had the incredible good luck to have shared our lives with them in the first place. Haunted Head is a love letter to those we have lost.”

Ahead of the release of the album came its final single ‘Side Effects’, released May 1st 2026, on the Pagan festival of Beltaine, a celebration of rebirth, rejuvenation, and the start of Summer. To coincide with the single, the band filmed a music video with Kieran Gallop of GLK Media (Sleeptoken, Mesh, Ingested). Discussing the single, the band state: “Unless you are a sociopath, grief is life’s great leveller. Irrespective of age, gender, politics, finances, religion – the enormity of grief brings every single one of us to the same level. There is no get-out-clause.”
