DECK THE SQUARE: WEYMOUTH’S TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS WEEKEND RETURNS

– Music and markets in Hope Square 13th to 14th December –

We Are Weymouth (BID) is delighted to announce the return of Weymouth’s Traditional Christmas Weekend, taking place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th December in Hope Square. The two-day celebration will bring artisan makers, live music, mulled wine, dancing and family activities to the heart of Weymouth, all raising money for Weymouth Food Bank

Dawn Rondeau-Irvine, Chief Operations Officer at We Are Weymouth, said: “Weymouth’s Traditional Christmas Weekend is one of the most-loved events in our winter calendar, and Hope Square is the perfect backdrop for it. It brings together everything people cherish about Weymouth at Christmas – community spirit, local talent, independent traders, and fantastic hospitality. We’re proud to support our levy payers while creating something special for residents and visitors, and raising money for Weymouth Food Bank makes the weekend even more meaningful.”

Rachel Bemrose, co-owner of Sticks & Bones, added: “We’re thrilled to host the artisan market this year. At Sticks & Bones we hold a Maker’s Market every season and we’re really excited to be able to expand this into Hope Square for a Christmas weekend.  Christmas in Weymouth has a unique warmth to it, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone for a weekend filled with creativity, music and festive fun.”
