As part of Milap‘s Spring Season, an exciting show is coming to Birkenhead’s Future Yard  on Saturday 28th March. A standout figure on the UK Jazz scene, US-born, Indian-raised and London-based Sarathy Korwar is a globally acclaimed percussionist, composer and producer, with praise from The Guardian, Rolling Stone, MOJO Magazine, Songlines and Jazz FM.

Touring his brand new album, ‘There Is Beauty, There Already’ this is futuristic Indo-Jazz at its finest, where audiences can expect a striking, percussion-led exploration of rhythm, voice and electronics. Sarathy’s music has earned critical acclaim worldwide, with collaborations including Shabaka Hutchings, Anoushka Shankar, Bex Burch, Alabaster DePlume, Tamar Osborn and Arun Ghosh.
