‘Bannau Brycheiniog’ is a Welsh-language version of the Supergrass album track ‘Brecon Beacons’ (Life on Other Planets, 2002). According to Ffredi, “The region has reclaimed its original name and I thought someone should do the same for this excellent song!” Welsh-Aussie indie act Ffredi Blino has released two albums of bilingual, genre-defying tunes to widespread acclaim. His singles ‘Honolulu’ and ‘Fruitfly’ received airplay from Cerys Matthews on BBC 6 Music and ‘Dwwwi’ reached #1 on Rhys Mwyn’s 2021 Siart Amgen (Alternative Chart) on Radio Cymru.
