Glasgow’s post-indie five-piece Flair, have released two singles since the Spring from their heir upcoming second studio EP ‘For Lack of a Better Word’, which arrives July 10th 2026 via Revo Pro. Ritual’, released April 24th, which came hot on the heels of their March single ‘Nausea. Which was championed by the likes of KEXP, Pop Journal, ASBO Magazine, RTE, WXNA, KUTX, and Louder Than War Radio.
Their music continues to channel the pulse of Glasgow, a city that remains both their creative backbone and driving force. Instead of drifting from their origins, Flair turn their roots into rocket fuel – buckfast in music form. Drenched in reverb and driven by razor-sharp hooks, they blend the melodic sweep of Wunderhorse and The War On Drugs with the bite of Fontaines D.C., carving out a sound that’s unmistakably theirs.
‘Ritual’ blends narratives of poverty, paranoia, and the roulette of drug consumption. With the haunting presence of drug-induced voices multiplying their dark message, Flair delivers a track that is as confrontational as it is immersive, as ever with the backdrop of Glasgow City as their muse. Discussing the track’s lyrical inspirations, vocalist and lyricist Tony Collum says “Ritual is a hate letter to addiction, and to the ritual of crack dependency. This track was originally our second ever single release. With high hopes as it really was our first attempt at deep, meaningful lyrics that portrayed who we are as a band.“

We felt Ritual demonstrated the darker, grittier side of our sound, and the perfect compliment to Nausea, reminding you that it’s always darkest before the dawn.
They now have three live gigs coming up in Birmingham, London and a headline gig at King Tut’s in their home city of Glasgow on 17th July just after their album release
