Norwell Lapley Productions, the team behind Dear Zoo Live, bring an Easter holiday treat for children of all ages with Tales from Acorn Wood. Which they bring to Oxford Playhouse on the 9th & 10th April. Based on the favourite stories by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, the characters are brought to life in an enchanting lift-the-flap experience, packed full of toe-tapping songs, puppets and all the friends from Acorn Wood.

Later in the month Garlick Theatre come to the Burton Taylor Studio with a puppet version of a well-known children’s story. Mrs Hickory and her cat Dickory love clocks. One day they find an enormous box delivered on their doorstep. Why is it so big? And what is that little squeaking sound inside? A slapstick glove puppet adventure with that wonderful song you’ve all been waiting for…
