Featuring an all-Scouse cast, Luke Barnes’ play explores ideas of class, social mobility and identity in this poignant and funny portrait of self discovery – returning home to Liverpool in July with this production at Unity Theatre.

Suzie, Edwina and Lucy have moved to a new school in a new town. Three very different sisters who will do anything to fit in and yet are desperate to be noticed. But how far will they go to break out of the roles in which they’ve been cast and will they ever be able to truly change their lives when they’re swimming against the tide?

Liverpool’s Unity Theatre is presenting 2 shows this July that showcase strong female lead characters and share themes of learning and self-discovery through the lens of Liverpool and Scouse identity. Last week’s “Near Miss” and this play, are also written by writers from or based in Liverpool, paying testament to Unity’s investment in local theatre makers and producers.
