South African Guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Ross Harding hit the ground running in 2024 performing across the UK in Newcastle, Glasgow, Bracknell, London, Southampton, Woking and Kingsbridge in various formats including Solo Acoustic, Unplugged Band and Full Electric Band. Now he is back in the UK for a 2-part “The Blood & The Blues” tour.

In 2025, the full electric band performances will now be under the banner of “Ross Harding & The Dark Hearts” but the first-class musicianship, captivating songs and the dark blues rock sound remain. ‘The Blood & The Blues’ Chapter 1 2025 leg of the tour will commence on Thursday 16th January 2025 with a Ross Harding & The Dark Hearts headlining at The Boilerroom, Guildford, Surrey with special guest singer-songwriter Lola Rose.
Lola Rose is an independent Americana musician, heavily influenced by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks and Bonnie Raitt. Growing up in rural North Yorkshire, her lyricism is laced with natural influence bringing a unique and authentic element to her original compositions. For the ‘January Blues’ evening at The Boileroom, Lola Rose draws on her musical upbringing to a tailor set full of classic and contemporary blues covers. From Ann Peebles to Free, they’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.
No Ross Harding live show is alike, with his musical skills and versatility being showcased in three unique formats: Solo Acoustic, Acoustic “Unplugged Band” and Electric Band. Much like John Mayer’s 2008 release ‘Where The Light Is: Live In Los Angeles’, this approach allows people to fully experience Ross Harding’s songwriting, guitar talents and captivating stage presence.
Speaking about the 2025 live dates, Ross Harding explains: “2025 is going to be a very honest and authentic musical journey, as I share my brand of dark blues rock with the UK. We’ve already done lots of groundwork and started building a community, and I am really looking forward to connecting with fans all over the UK and expanding that”.
A prolific performing artist, his versatile stage performances range from a deeply soulful solo acoustic artist to a high energy blues rocker, whose experience is that of an artist much older than he. A seasoned touring musician, he has played hundreds of shows in clubs, festivals, and notable venues in his decade-long professional career. Ross Harding continues to push boundaries in his redefining approach to the blues rock genre.
“…a remarkable dark and moving depth…an experience that starts with his cracked, soulful and incredibly emotive voice which has a surprising turn of range to it…With a crisp and clear production, the subtleties of guitar and vocals are beautifully balanced…sometimes you just need to go back to your musical roots, and it’s rather fantastic that it’s taken a gentleman half my age to remind me of that fact.”
