“The Koala Who Could” tells the story of a koala called Kevin who is clung to a tree in ‘a place where the creatures ran wild and free’. Kevin – the King of the staying-still kings – is joined by his friends Kangaroo and Wombat in the Australian Outback where they learn that ‘life can be great when you try something new’. Family audiences are encouraged to embrace change in a brand-new adaptation of the bestselling picture book, The Koala Who Could, at Theatre Royal Winchester from 13th November.

This brand-new adventure, featuring delightful puppets, is based on the award-winning and empowering book by Rachel Bright and Jim Field about change. It is directed by Emma Earle (Oi Frog & Friends!) with music and lyrics by Eamonn O’Dwyer (The Lion Inside). It is presented by Nicoll Entertainment – a family theatre company whose productions include the award-winning and global successes, Dinosaur World Live, The Tiger Who Came To Tea and Dragons and Mythical Beasts; plus The Lion Inside – a heart-warming tale of bravery and Floella Benjamin’s Coming to England.
